(Picture Courtesy: Google)  আজ মহালয়া , দেবী পক্ষের সূচনা কিন্তু আজ আশ্বিন মাসের শারদ সকাল বা সন্ধ্যে নয় , এই মহালয়াতে   পুজো পুজো গন্ধ আসেনি কারণ দুর্গা পুজো আসবে এক মাস বাদে | কিন্তু মহালয়া আশা মানেই ছোটবেলার অনেক কিছু স্মৃতি চোখের সামনে পর পর ভেসে উঠলো | তখন আমরা,মানে আমি আর আমার ভাই, (৭/৮ বছর বয়েস) দাদু আর বাবার কাছে বীরেন্দ্র কৃষ্ণ ভদ্রর  চন্ডীপাঠের গল্প শুনেছি | সেটা নিজের কানে সোনার সৌভাগ্য হয়েছিল আকাশবাণী কলকাতাতে | আগের রাতে রেডিও স্টেশন tune করে ঘড়িতে alarm সেট করে ঘুমোতে যাওয়া, শোওয়ার আগে বার  বার  reminder দেয়া মাকে "কাল কিন্তু ডেকে দেবে শুনবো |" ভোর ৪-টের অ্যালার্ম, প্রায় ঘুমিয়ে  ঘুমিয়ে রেডিওটা ও করে আবার বিছানায়, কিন্তু কান একেবারে রেডিওর দিকে......ঘুম কখন কেটে যেত  বীরেন্দ্র কৃষ্ণ ভদ্রের কণ্ঠস্বর শুনতে শুনতে, টের পেতাম না | ঠিক ৫টাতে TV তে Doordarshan এ মহালয়া দেখার ইচ্ছে আরো বেড়ে যেত রেডিও শুনতে শুনতে, কারণ এতক্ষণ যা শুনেছি সেটা  চাক্ষুষ দেখাও চাই, তাই brush করে সোজা টিভির সামনে | তার সাথে বো...

I am starting this blog with a simple yet complicated topic “What men want from women”…if we start a survey from women of different age and socio economic background we will get thousands of views, reasons, clarifications, instructions, to-do-list from them. No one will actually give a clear idea what exactly men want from women. I am not here to criticize each of them or I am not here to give verdict about men but few things still strikes me as a woman and I am going to share it in my blog with this topic. Earlier when women were not exposed enough to outer world due to lack of education and were taught how to take care of the house by allowing them to play with clay pots, dolls and when they grow up a little their job used to help their mothers in the kitchen. We often speak about Motivation but what exactly it means to us. It is just not a word it has a weight, yes that's right it has weight and we tend to forget how to use it. We tend to get inspired by these things...
